Centennial Olympic Park: As the name suggests it is an Olympic Park situated in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. The park was built in the year 1996 for the Olympic Games and currently has walking paths, water gardens and Fountain of Rings.

Best time to visit Georgia

Looking to visit Georgia, then the summer months of May to September is the best time when the weather is warm and sometimes hot perfect to venture out. Winter season of November to February is mild is considered shoulder season. Local events in the state include Martin Luther King. Jr (January), the Cherry Blossom Festival in Macon (March) and the Masters Golf Tournament (April) in Augusta.
